Stargazing in December

Last night was not windy and pretty clear weather and I decided to do some local observing.

Unfortunately, because of heavy light pollution from Baltimore, my Andromeda picture is not so good this time. You can barely see the galaxy's shape:

The much better one I made on Kile Knob a month ago: Novembers stargazing.

This time I just decided to go through some Messier objects.

Here is M37, Open Star Cluster in Auriga:

That is supposed to be Open Cluster M36, also in Auriga. I hope I've got the right one.

Another open cluster in Auriga - M38.

Orion Nebula - M42+M43 again. They are so beautiful.

Got some pictures of Jupiter when it was up enough.
Unfortunately there was only 3 moons and I did not stay long enough to catch the appearance of the fourth one.

My main concern was to capture stripes. Unfortunately it was extremely hard and stripes are still so pale.

November's Stargazing on Kile Knob

Trying to catch up with my old pictures.

Here is a little set from last last visit of Kile Knob in November.

I think that is my best shot of the Sun so far. Thanks to a new tripod I recently purchased.

Trying to catch best sunset ever:

And here is why I'm on Kile Knob: Perfect skies, no wind and 18F.

Andromeda Galaxy (M31+M32+M110)

Orion Nebula (M42+M43)

Tom did some deep sky observing and I've joined him with this one.
Here is picture of a Far Far Away Galaxy NGC 891

It looks like my new telescope and tripod are pretty good.

Next morning Sunrise. The most southern one I could ever catch.

Orbiter 3 Antares Rocket explosion.

That was really horrifying. Women were screaming. Men were just in a shock.
I was feeling like I've got in a heavy car accident.

Do not want to edit any pictures or delete anything. Just copied all as is (just compressed the size in bulk). Do not want to see it again and again. Will just publish it and put it out of my hands.

Hopefully nobody died nor been injured.

If you have 3D glasses here is a video:
